Gaining international experience

I want a career where I can serve the US and have an international experience.

I served in the Army as a combat medic and was deployed to Afghanistan from February to November 2013. I already knew I wanted to pursue international relations when I enlisted, and going to the Middle East definitely made me more interested in that region. I’m focused on getting my degree and I hope to work for the State Department.
